Hello and greetings fellow otaku,
As most of you may have heard by now, Apple has finally released their new tablet known as the Ipad. Now your probably wondering if you should go ahead and spend your money on one of these devices, well here are my thoughts about it.
Now most of the rumors surrounding the Ipad were that the Ipad was going to have a camera, multitasking, support for Verizon and AT&T 3G networks among a whole bunch of other things. However, that was not the case. The Ipad has no multitasking support, It only supports AT&T networks in which you would have to pay $30 a month extra for unlimited data usage (This is extra if you already have a data plan for your Iphone) and on top of that their is no camera.
However it does support apps you already have on your Iphone and Ipod touch and it has some new features including an e-reader in which you can read the latest mangas and novels directly on the Ipad. Overall, this is an ok device but for $499 for the 16GB model I don’t think it is worth it. In my honest opinion, if you want something to support your digital life, then get an Iphone or Ipod touch.
